The last blog: Evaluation of my blogging experience!

Hi everyone! I hope you're well! Today is the last blog...</3 I can't believe that in one more week it will be Christmas! Today, I will talk about my experience with this type of evaluation: The blogs. Blogs I liked a lot, because I was allowed to write about entertaining topics and learn and know more about my classmates. In my opinion, if they helped me develop my writing skills in English (despite using google translator), because now I use it as less as before, and also I use more connectors and words in English.  I'm sure that what I learned will be useful for the everyday use of English in the university. I think that blogs are a good type of evaluation, more freedom to write and that promotes socializing with the classmates! For the future of blogs, I would add more opinion blogs on a controversial topic, or simply on a contingency topic. I think that opinion blogs would help develop argumentation and writing skills in English. Maybe in the future, ...

MY FAVORITE FOOD :O

HI EVERYONE! I HOPE YOU'RE WELL! :D Today I will talk about my favorite food! Well ... in classes I said that my favorite food is spaghetti ... but, that I think about it better, I think that my favorite food is to my grandmother's food ... "Zucchini bake". First I want to explain what ingredient contains "Zucchini bake". It's basically an Italian zucchini stew with melted cheese over it <3 I do not know where this recipe came from, but my grandmother always prepares it <3 (although it's cooks less than before, because it takes longer cooking time than other recipes). I really like zucchinis <3 I think that is a good vegetable that people don't like as many like other vegetables :( And zucchinis with melted cheese is the perfect combination <3! I don't eat as often because I only eat it when my grandma cooks it xD Buuut I want to learn how to cook this delicious recipe;) I have many good memories with this food, but m...

A subject I enjoy studying this semester!!

Hello everyone! I hope you're well <3 Today I will talk about my favorite subject of this term! I think that my favorite subject of this semester is an "Historia Social de Chile". In this class the teacher explains facts from the past since the perspective of the popular classes, in the period since nineteen century until the present day. The main contents that we have seen are migration field-city and the increase and the consolidation of the city of Santiago. The teacher talks about events that in the most of times, one did not learn at school. I really like this class because I learn about the story of places, communities and neighborhoods that, although being close to me, I didn't know the history hidden behind its present. After this class, I always feel that I'm learning something new and interesting, that I can later share with my family. A person that I admire on Social Work!

Hello everyone! I hope you’re well! Today I will talk about a person that I admire on Social Work, she is Lena Dominelli. I know about her since a one month ago, when I began to read for a presentation for the class "Critical approaches to Social Work" about her perspective of Social Work, that it call “Anti oppressive”. This vision of Social Work has a purpose that people are empowered and, at the same time, fight for the finish of the oppressions of all kinds. Lena Dominelli is a professor of Social Work in different universities in UK, like University of Stirling and Durham University and She has written from different topics since her perspective of Social Work, for example, about feminism, racism and green social work. I like that she questions the Social Work, for example when she said in her book "Anti-Racist Social Work" that “Social work practice is not exempted from personal, institutional and cultural racism in its policies, practices and theories...

FAVORITE STYLE OF MUSIC!

Hello everyone! I hope you're well! Today I will talk about my favorite music style :o!! First, I want to say that I don't always listen to music, for example, I don't like listen to music in the subway or bus. I enjoy the silence in those moments. But in my house I like to listen to differents types of music. I like listen to radio, because you never know the song that will sound, and help to know new songs! I think that the type of music that I more listen is Pop...When I was 12-13-14 years old I was CRAZY for One Direction laslajsakjs and Selena Gomez, 5SOS, Katy Perry, Little Mix, Ariana Grande and these types of "teenagers artist" or "Disney Artists" (I still like those artists <3 ). A photograph!!

Hello everyone!! I  hope you're well! Today I will talk about a photograph that I like. About photography, I like taking photos, specially my dogs, my family, selfies and photos random anytime. But, my cellphone doesn´t have a lot of memory and for this reason I use the cellphone of my mother or grandfather to take differents pics. This photo was taken in December of 2016 in my grandparents' house. If I remember correctly, my grandfather took this photo but maybe was me. This photo shows a flower, that my grandmother called "The flower of a day" because when blooming it stays well only for a day and then died. My grandmother loves the plants and flowers, and her garden is full of planters with differents types of plants. This plant it blooms only in this time (near of Christmas) and my grandmother is so happy when this happens. My pets!

Hello everyone!! I  hope you're well! Today I will talk about my pets <3 I have two dogs, and their names are Tomi and Pelé. First, I will talk about Tomi. He's 14 years old! He's already old but still has a lot of energy! Tomi is in my house since I was 4 years old, that is, I have been almost all my life with his company <3 I love his personality because he is surly (he doesn't like the excess of love), independent and rebel (he is very disobedient even though now less than before, maybe by the age) but inside he is a cute dog <3 I love him and every day we run in the garden even though he sleeps most of the time :( because now that he's old he feels more tired :( Now, I will talk about Pelé, my young dog.
